Tony Gechele of Independent Restoration Services is the most honest, trust worthy and kind human being I have ever met. Don't waste your time considering anyone else for your repairs. Tony will tell you the truth about what you actually need and not hit you with scare tactics to up sell you what you don't. I have known him for years from a previous repair and he is always my first and only call when I need something. I could not recommend Tony more strongly!!!!

Independent Restoration Services is more than just a company—they are truly like family. From the moment we made the call in a moment of crisis, they showed up right on time and took the entire burden off our shoulders. We were in total distress after the flood, but Joe, Nick, and the rest of the incredible team stepped in with such compassion, professionalism, and care that we immediately felt supported and safe.

They didn’t just handle the demo—they helped us transition through every step. They assisted us in settling into a hotel, moved our furniture with great care to the storage pod, and even took the time to respectfully and patiently arrange everything before beginning the demolition of the flooded areas. Their kindness, attention to detail, and steady communication made such a difficult time much easier to handle.

We’re deeply grateful for everything they did for us. Thank you, Joe, Nick, and the entire Independent Restoration Services team. You went above and beyond, and we’ll never forget it.

Had a great experience with Independent Restoration services in columbus for a not so great experience at my home. Our bathroom drain broke late Sunday night, Called very late that same night, they were out first thing Monday morning but helped me on the phone control the issue at the time. Luke explained the whole process and help me understand the issue, the cause and the mitigation process. Highly recommend a great team for situations like this.

This company is awesome. They came through during a stressful basement flood. I felt relieved as soon as I contacted them. Joseph helped me with the steps in this process. Blake arrived and was very knowledgeable, professional and understanding. He worked hard and was careful with the demo. He told me beforehand everything he was going to do and kept me informed. Let me say the amount of detail he did was amazing. The basement looks and smells great now. Blake is a great asset to your company. Excellent work. I highly recommend this company.

Jon and his crew did an absolutely amazing job cleaning and installing a vapor barrier in our crawl space. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and incredibly thorough. They took the time to explain the process, answered all of our questions, and made sure everything was done to the highest standard. The crawl space looks spotless, and the new vapor barrier was installed perfectly. We noticed an immediate difference in the air quality of our home. It’s such a relief to know that space is now clean, dry, and protected. I would highly recommend Jon and his team to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work. UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING COMPANY!!!

Coming out of the unreal weather we’ve had, Joseph (company owner,) was here within hours of day one. Blake & Aaron have been incredible in the following 5 days.

They are both wonderfully knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, accommodating, professional and KIND 💛
